Hair of the Dog is an ongoing series of weekly posts written for the express purpose of alleviating your hangover so you can start your week off right. As much flak as it has received for its insufferable, rabid tween fanbase, the Twilight film series has, if nothing else, given us some very beautiful people, photographed in beautiful fashion, not the least amongst them Ashley Greene, she who plays that lovely she-vamp character whose relation to the plotline we’re not entirely sure of, probably because 90% of her time she’s just on-screen eye candy. But hey, we’re okay with that, especially when it affords Miss Greene the opportunity to take center stage for magazine cover shoots like the one she recently did for Canadian fashion publication Flare. Shot poolside in Beverly Hills, the photos capture Greene dressed in stark vampiric fashion, providing a stark contrast to the casual mood of her sun-drenched surroundings. From a career standpoint, we can’t fault her for riding the coattails of the Twilight franchise, but with the series winding down, it’d be nice to see her in some other roles, something not involving blood and fangs. For now, you can catch her in the rest of the Flare cover shoot over at Fashion Gone Rogue, and in latest Twilight installment, something we’re sure no real man is looking forward to see, but seeing as how it gets the girls all in a tizzy, we suppose sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get laid.
